Actress Dayo Amusa has clashed with Omotayo Aduke, wife of Femi Adebayo, who called her out for criticising her husband over the announcement of crossdresser Bobrisky as best dressed female at Eniola Ajao’s Beast of Two Worlds premiere.

The announcement sparked reactions on social media on Monday as several celebrities including Dayo Amusa knocked the judges for placing Bobrisky in a female category.

Dayo Amusa stated that declaring Bobriksy as the best-dressed female was disrespectful to women.

As criticism over Femi Adebayo’s announcement worsened, Omotayo Aduke in an Instagram post on Tuesday berated those attacking her husband, saying that her husband was only asked to announce the winner and should not be blamed.

She wrote: “Shame You all are quick to bring people down…How does the person who presents an award be blamed for it? So if AMVCA gives an award to someone you believe is not deserving, you’ll blame the presenter of the award and not the AMVCA or judges?!!! Where are your brains?

“Well I dont blame you all, I blame the so called colleagues ( enemies disguised as friends) Who fnd it easier to publicly call you out at every opportunity rather than putting a call through to you! Femi is damn too hardworking and supportive! Madam, karma will visit you soon! Because you know Femi was only asked to present! Your call out was definitely Intentional and hypocritical!

An hour later, Dayo Amusa responded in the comment section of the post, saying that she understood why Aduke defended her husband but “throwing banta” depicts as her a “shallow-minded” person.

The actress claimed Femi has taken responsibility for his actions and she stands by her words.

She wrote: “It’s cool to want to defend your own ALADUKE! I respect you for that but throwing banta only shows how shallow-minded you are…He has to own up to it, take responsibility for his actions and do the needful. No one is an enemy in disguise.
Hypocrisy doesn’t exist here. I said all I said and I stand firmly on it. DON’T PUSH THIS TOO FAR.”

In another post, Aduke labelled Dayo a hypocrite, claiming that the actress had already apologised to Femi but her apology appears to be insincere.

She wrote: “Dayo! You are a hypocrite and evil-minded! Just this morning you were apologizing to femi on the phone, you claimed you didn’t mean it the way it was interpreted and that you would do a video to correct that but Ofcus you lied! Who God has blessed No Dayo can curse. God is bigger than you!”
