Singer Davido has revealed his plans to copyright the popular slang ‘e choke’ which has come to be known and associated with him.
The singer made the revelation in a tweet on Wednesday.
He wrote: “Gotta get ‘e choke’ copyrighted it’s getting outta hand.”
The ‘Fem’ singer has popularised slangs such as “Tule joor”, “who de breathe”, and “e choke” and they have become common usage on social media.
His tweet came a few hours after the new slang ‘e don spoil’ popularised by Wizkid and Bella Shmurda started trending on Twitter.
