Popular Yoruba-language actress, Ronke Oshodi Oke, has taken a swipe at the culture of promoting “rubbish” as exemplified by the likes of social media celebrity, Bobrisky.

In video messages posted on Instagram on Friday, the 42-year-old talks about how children are easily influenced by things they see on social media.

Her words: “Our children go online and see 22-year-old boy that wants to make N10m and they see boys turn girls and see ‘dudu’ (black) turn white thinking what they’re seeing is right.”

She insists though that everybody wants to make money, but they should do it the right way.

She also lashes out at bloggers and “media people” for promoting rubbish, saying everyone has kids and should do their best to protect them.

Ronke has starred in blockbuster Yoruba home videos like, Return of Jenifa, Aseju and Osun.

She has been married twice and has two children – a boy and a girl.
