He also criticised Tiwa Savage, pointing at her lyrics in her collaboration with rapper, Zlatan Ibile, ‘Shotan.’

“What I noticed over the years is that the lyrics became flimsy and some people lost their sense of belonging, sense of who they are. Because I started hearing some ladies do some song like not really going well with how you want to hear a lady talk like. When a lady is telling you something that really don’t count s’o ma gbe mi lo’le, will you gbadun my waist…I just think the ladies and the women should come up with reasonable lyrics,” he said.

The group split up in 2004 and each member of the group has gone on to launch solo careers.

Blackface, born Augustine Obiabo, has over the years accused 2face of song theft and failure to give him song writing credits for his songs.

He also accused the iconic singer of orchestrating his marginalisation in the music industry.
