Former Big Brother Naija housemate Cross Okonkwo has warned fans about a scam involving his wedding.
In a post shared on his Instagram story, Cross said someone has been collecting N500,000 from people under the claim that they are selling invites to his wedding.
He described the individual as a scammer and urged the public to report anyone making such demands.
He also clarified that he is not selling tickets for the event, noting that only access cards are being issued.
“Pls, no one should pay anybody money o. If you’re part of CN, pls reach out to Pam; she will help you out.
“Pls, no one is selling tickets for my wedding. Anyone who says you should bring money is a thief, and you should report them ASAP. I am not selling any tickets, only access cards. Thank you”.
Cross and his wife Chinonso held their court wedding on February 23.
After the ceremony, the reality TV star shared photos on social media, thanking God and introducing themselves as Mr and Mrs Okonkwo.
Cross rose to prominence as a finalist on the sixth season of Big Brother Naija, tagged Shine Ya Eye, in 2021.
