Actor Adeniyi Johnson has alerted the public over an impersonator using his name to reach out to people with fake business messages.
He raised the alarm in a statement shared on social media, urging fans to ignore any suspicious chats or proposals sent in his name.
The actor stressed that he has no manager or personal assistant at the moment and warned that any number claiming to represent him should be disregarded.
He also called on the public to report and frustrate the number involved in the impersonation.

The warning comes amid increasing cases of impersonation targeting public figures in the entertainment industry, where fake accounts and phone numbers are often used to contact fans and attempt fraudulent dealings.
Several Nigerian entertainers have in recent times also raised similar concerns, urging the public to verify any account or message before engaging, especially where money or business offers are involved.
