Nollywood actor, Aremu Afolayan, has apologised to President Muhammadu Buhari, Governor Akinwunmi Ambode and others for his outburst over the treatment he allegedly received at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos.

Aremu had in a video which went viral on Monday accused some people of demanding money for access to the airport terminal.

He also accused Ethiopian Airways of improper treatment of a female relative with a French passport.

In new videos posted on Instagram on Wednesday, the actor thanked Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, immigration officials and the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) for taking steps to respond to his grievances.

He also said the issue has been cleared while the case was under investigation while apologising for the vulgar language used in his first video.

Aremu is the younger brother of popular filmmaker, Kunle Afolayan, who was forced to distance himself from his action after fans and social media users called his attention to it.

This is not the first time Kunle will publicly disassociate himself from statements made by the youngest son of the late legendary filmmaker, Adeyemi Afolayan, popularly known as Ade Love.

Aremu drew the ire of his older brother in April when he said in a PUNCH interview that he was born poor in spite of their father’s fame.

Responding, in another interview with the newspaper, Kunle said Aremu was on his own, and that they were not from a poor home.
