Filmmaker Kunle Afolayan has announced that the 1980 classic Kadara by his father, Adeyemi Afolayan, also known as Ade Love, will be released on YouTube on Tuesday.
He shared the update on Tuesday on his Instagram page alongside a short clip from the film.
In the caption, he wrote: “Destiny can only be delayed, not denied.
The 1980 classic Kadara, originally released by the legendary Ade Love, is officially coming to your screens.
“The epic rivalry between a humble farmer and a wealthy man competing for a princess’s hand
“Karada drops on Today, Tuesday 26th of May at 6PM Nigerian time on @kapstream_tv

Kadara is one of the classic Yoruba films associated with Ade Love, who was a pioneer of indigenous Nigerian filmmaking. His other notable works include Taxi Driver, Ija Ominira, Kadara, and Agogo Eewo.
He died in 1996.
