Singer Adekunle Gold has surprised his wife and fellow singer Simi with gifts to mark her 38th birthday.
Simi celebrated her birthday on Sunday, sharing new photos and personal reflections about her life. She described the past year as “pretty big, long, heavy and blessed” and expressed gratitude to God.
Joining the celebration, Adekunle shared a message describing her as his favourite human, his greatest muse and his home. He said she has been his constant source of peace and strength, adding that the world is lucky to have her.

Later on Sunday, Simi shared a video showing the moment she received a car and a ring from her husband. She captioned the post, “Soft n spoiled”.
Last year, Adekunle also celebrated her birthday with a message reflecting on how they met and how their relationship has grown, thanking her for being his home and supporter.
Adekunle and Simi got married in January 2019 in a private ceremony attended by close family and friends. The couple welcomed their first child, a daughter named Adejare, in May 2020.
