Actress Seun Osigbesan’s husband reveals she paid bills for seven years

Actress Seun Osigbesan has been praised by her husband for supporting the home financially for several years during a difficult period in their marriage.

Her husband, a senior pastor of Gracemade Christian Center, shared the account during a church event held in celebration of her 40th birthday, in a video now circulating online.

He said she took responsibility for the family’s expenses when he had no stable income and remained consistent throughout that period.

“You know, if I need anything, I am very comfortable to ask her because I know that she will come through. Even when I did not have anything, she was consistent and never complained. She carried a lot of burden, real bills, for at least seven years and never complained,” he said.

He also spoke about the encouragement she gave him during that time.

“She always tells me, ‘Baby, I believe in you, you can do it, you are a great man, you are a millionaire.’ Now she says, ‘You are a billionaire, we have crossed into billions in Jesus’ name.’ She kept speaking those words into my life, and that kept me going,” the husband added.

He further recalled the level of hardship the family experienced, including times when they struggled to afford basic needs.

“There was a time in our family when we could not afford diapers, and she used black nylon as diapers for the children. That went on for weeks. At a point, what the family ate was pap for breakfast, pap for lunch and pap for dinner. Yet, she never complained,” he said.

According to him, she never expressed frustration or made him feel inadequate despite the situation.

“She never said, ‘What kind of man is this?’ She never made me feel like I was failing. She was just that kind of person, very tolerant and deeply supportive,” he said.

He described her as a strong and supportive partner and asked members of the congregation to acknowledge her.

“I do not know where they made her from, but she is an amazing woman. Please help me thank her,” he said.

Seun is widely known for her role in the television series The Johnsons, produced by Rogers Ofime and aired on Africa Magic. The show ran from 2012 to 2024 and followed the everyday life of a Lagos based family.

She left the series in 2022 and was ordained as a pastor in 2023, marking a new phase in her journey alongside her acting career.
