Gumsu Sani-Abacha, daughter of the late dictator Gen. Sani Abacha, has dismissed a video alleging her family doled out $100 bills at a wedding to see the bride’s face.

The video was posted on X by a user with the handle @the_scholar1 on Thursday.

“Abacha family doing the unthinkable, giving out a bundle of 100 USD just to see the bride face while twitter family have been debating for past 70 years whether 700k lefe is enough or not,” the video was captioned.

Abacha, who recently announced the end of her marriage to Yobe State Governor, Mai Mala Buni, cautioned the publisher of the video to stop spreading false information.

“This is not my family.  Stop spreading false information,” she wrote on Friday.

The Nigerian government has recovered millions of dollars stashed abroad by Abacha and his cronies since his death on June 8, 1998.
