Mrs Emmanuella Adedoyin Lanso (nee Fashola), mother of Nollywood actor, Yomi Fash-Lanso, has died aged 89.
Her death occurred on Wednesday, October 7.
The actor confirmed this in a text message to qed.ng.
“Yes boss. Yesterday”, was his reaction to a message seeking confirmation about the passing.
The 47-year-old star later posted a message on Facebook which reads: “She (is) a fantastic woman, mother and being. Mrs Emmanuella Adedoyin Lanso nee Fashola. 1926-2015. She’ll be fondly remembered as MAAMI. RIPP in the bosom of your CREATOR”
Yomi, recently starred in Tunde Kilani’s movie Dazzling Mirage.
