Fuji musician Pasuma has opened up about why he prefers helping people to acquiring luxury properties.
Speaking about his lifestyle, the 58-year-old said many people have told him that if he had saved more money, he would have owned several expensive houses by now. However, he said material possessions do not mean much to him in the long run.
“I used to ask myself if l die today, will l take any one of the houses to heaven? No!” he said.
Pasuma added that his generosity has also become part of his prayers to God, as he believes he still has many people to help.
“I normally use this generous lifestyle to pray to God and even remind him that l mustn’t kpaii now because there’s still lots of people l am being programmed to help and to wipe their tears away, so God should continue to strengthening me to help others,” Pasuma stated.
The entertainer also credited his late mother for teaching him kindness and generosity at an early age.
“So l am not permitted to kpai young. More so, my mother already told me to be kind and generous to others,” he added.
Pasuma is one of Nigeria’s most popular Fuji musicians. He began his music career in the 1980s and has released several albums over the years, becoming known for blending Fuji with contemporary sounds.
