Nollywood actress, Toyin Abraham, has endorsed the visit of Vice President Yemi Osinbajo to the family of deceased Channels TV reporter, Precious Owolabi.

Owolabi was killed last Monday during a protest by the Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN).

Mr Osinbajo condoled with the family on Sunday.

Owolabi, 23, who was a member of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), was buried last Thursday at the Wusasa cemetery, Zaria, Kaduna State.

Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna accompanied the vice president to visit the deceased’s family.

The NYSC has begun processing the N1 million insurance cover for Owolabi’s family.

Toyin Abraham was among the league of celebrities who congratulated President Muhammadu Buhari and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo on their victory in February’s presidential election.

She also went on TraderMoni distribution drive with Osinbajo and Lagos State All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, in November 2018.
