Pop musician, Tiwa Savage, has thanked organisers of the People Music Award for naming her Female Artiste of the Year.
The 37-year-old was given the honour at a ceremony held in Ikeja, Lagos on Sunday.
The Mavin Records artistes uploaded the image of her plaque to Instagram, telling the organisers “thank you so much, I won’t take this for granted”.
Tiwa attended the award ceremony in a yellow outfit made by Funke Adepoju.
Among others present at the City People Music Award were troubled reggae singer, Majek Fashek; Chairman, Copyright Society of Nigeria (COSON), Tony Okoroji; Waka Queen, Salawa Abeni and her son Big Shef; reggae musician, Ras Kimono; movie producer; Patrick Doyle, and rapper, Ruggedman.
