Excerpts…

You’ve always been known for your graphics and photo-shop skills…why the sudden switch to music?
I’ve actually been into music for a while and as a matter of fact, it has always been my first love. Photoshop skills is what I developed along the line, while graphic design and brand development is my profession

How did the deal with YBNL come about, and what does it entail?
After I dropped my single Sade, Pheelz Mr Producer heard it, and developed interest in me. He insisted that Olamide should sign me that he likes my sound. On what the deal entails? (Smiles) Just know, I’m happy about it?

Are we going to be seeing a remix of ‘Sade’ with Olamide soon, or will you be working with him on any other song?
I’ll definitely work with Olamide on a song although I don’t know when. But soon. And no, there won’t be Sade remix

For how long have you been signed to YBNL, and how would you describe Olamide as a boss?
I’ve been signed to YBNL for four months now. Olamide is an amazing and hardworking young man. And I totally love his work ethics.

How would you define your sound?
My genre is Urban Highlife, and it is something I crafted myself.  It’s a fusion of pop, folk and highlife.

So how do you derive your inspiration?
I get inspired by things around me. I love to tell people’s stories…day to day happenings.

Is Sade a result of your personal experience?
Yes, the Sade song is my story

We learnt you’re in a relationship with fellow singer, Simi. Is she giving you a tough time about walking down the aisle?
Lol…stop hearing stuff. Nobody is giving me tough time.

But are you in a relationship with her because your social media pages are full of the both of you in love postures and messages?
I’d rather not talk about that.

Okay then, but what are the qualities your dream woman must possess?
She has to be hardworking, adventurous and Godly.
