TAMPAN to suspend movie production over coronavirus

The Theatre Arts and Motion Picture Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN) has suspended movie production till April 17 due to the coronavirus pandemic.

According to a post shared on Instagram on Tuesday by the National President of TAMPAN, Bolaji Amusan, the ban which takes effect on Friday, was put in place to adhere to the directive of the government on social distancing.

Amusan, popularly known as Mr Latin, captioned the post, “No filming from March 27 till April 17. God save us from coronavirus.”

The Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) made a similar announcement on Tuesday, it ordered its members to quit movie production over the coronavirus outbreak.
