Skit maker Mama Uka on Wednesday escaped death when the Plaster of Paris (POP) ceiling collapsed at his home in Lekki, Lagos.

The comedian, born Eze Sunday Odinaka, shared a video of the incident on his Facebook page.

“Comedian Mama Uka narrowly escaped death from house collapse in Lekki Lagos,” he captioned his post to his over 100,000 followers.

The funnyman was said to be lying on the bed when the ceiling collapsed.

In April, skit maker John Kennedy Kanu aka Bros Jay Kay and a woman said to be his lover died in a road accident.

The comedian and the woman were involved in a car crash which occurred on Rumuodara East-West Road in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

The comic, who also owned a media and e-ticketing company called Reelwood TV, rammed his vehicle into a broken-down waste disposal truck, leading to the fatal crash.
