Singer and songwriter, Simi, has announced that she is set to make her movie debut in a film directed by filmmaker, Kunle Afolayan.
The Jamb Question singer revealed this as she shared a trailer of the movie in an Instagram post on Friday.
“This is the first time in my life to do anything like this AND I’m so so so excited and nervous at the sameeee time 😫.
“Official Trailer for #MOKALIK Directed by award-winning director, Kunle Afolayan. It’s mind-blowing stuff,” she wrote.
Simi tied the knot with long-time sweetheart, Adekunle Gold, on January 9 in a private traditional ceremony in Lagos.
The lovebirds had their white wedding at the popular Ilashe beach along the Badagry creek.
Simi and Adekunle Gold premiered a new video, titled Promise, which gave fans a sneak peek of their wedding.
The couple chose Cape Town, South Africa, as the destination for their honeymoon.
