This is for all my guys wey wan blow, quick quick, sharp sharp, now now. I know sey hard work has turned into a boring routine for you. No adrenaline and dopamine rush, no quick rewards!

We face a lot of difficulties in life, sometimes we are so overwhelmed by them that we are in a hurry to give up.

Why do we always easily forget that life is not a bed of roses?

For everyone we see as successful, they all have their own story of the struggle, their little beginning, the waiting, the hoping. It wasn’t an easy road, but it was a journey they were willing to take

I keep telling young people that success is a deliberate effort, a decision to become that which you’ve always dreamt to be.

How can great and pure thoughts be deposited in minds accumulated with rubbish, bugged down by an “any means necessary” kinda mindset? We can never fast forward ourselves to success, pray our way to greatness or Illuminati ourselves to richness for Christ sake. E no possible. Impossicant!

Some people will daydream and imagine that they’ll be like Dangote one day and it baffles me that it ends in their imagination, because they are damn too lazy to work at it. And when you don’t make hay while the sun shines, don’t go looking for people to blame for failing to lay a solid foundation.

Truth is, there are no shortcuts in this life, take it from me. In my life, nothing came easy for me, because I choose to walk a hard and painful path. Damn! I am used to suffering and hardship because I understood early in life that we need to fight for whatever we desire. It will never fall on our laps. Hard work pays me, big time. Na so God take punish my enemies.

I didn’t start my life on a platter of gold you know.

When people hear my name they might imagine I made it because my father had it. How can a father support financially what he didn’t approve of at first? I hustled, I strived on my own, I slept in studios and hustled in Lagos like every other. It wasn’t special for me because my father was a Supreme Court Judge then.

Everyone who has climbed the ladder of success understands that you always start from the bottom to the top. Where else would one begin again if not from down under? The process of beginning is always the time of laying strong foundations and planting, watering. If one skips this process, then what the hell is he building on?

When you look at those ahead of you, what you should do is not to admire what they have but find out how they got there, the mistakes and lessons they learnt along the way. Don’t depend on another person for your future. If they won’t train you in school train yourself; get a part-time job. Always find something to do to take you to the next level.

Today is the day for making sacrifices so that you can soar tomorrow.

When I hear people say “there was no one to train me so I dropped out of school, there was no one to help me that’s why I am poor” then your situation has not overwhelmed you enough. When you get so overwhelmed and tired of that situation, you will take the next leap and make that situation permanently go away. Overwhelming situations don’t call for us to break, it’s a sign that you are beyond it, a pointer to the fact that you can overcome it if only you will.

Always remember, success is a deliberate effort.
