Sanwo-Olu’s aide Funmi Olotu and friends watch private screening of Toyin Abraham’s Ijakumo

Funmi Olotu, senior special assistant on state lotteries to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos, and some of her friends attended a private screening of Toyin Abraham’s new film in Lagos on Friday.

The screening was Filmhouse IMAX Cinema Lekki.

Olotu, 39, posted a series of videos from the event on Instagram on Saturday.

The caption in one of her posts reads in part: “It was so cool taking time off last night to relax and watch this really amazing movie IJAKUMO by my darling @toyin_abraham with my friends at a private viewing @filmhousecinemas IMAX cinema Lekki.”

Toyin Abraham, who was present at the private screening, thanked Olotu for her financial support among others.

“Thanks a lot sis😍😍😍u r da best and thanks for the money as well🙏😍love u,” the actress wrote in the comment section of one of the posts.

Olotu and Mr Sanwo-Olu along with other Lagos State officials attended the premiere of Ijakumo in December.

The movie, which started screening in cinemas on December 23, made N136million in the first 11 days to make it the fourth highest-grossing Nollywood movie of 2022.
