Actor Uzor Arukwe has drawn attention online after sharing plans to celebrate his colleague Olawunmi Adenibuyan, popularly known as Bam Bam on her birthday.
Uzor took to his Instagram page, asking fans for suggestions on what gift to get for the actress.
As part of plans to surprise her, the actor said he intended to organise a party at a library. He also invited fans and well wishers to contribute by purchasing tables in two categories or by choosing items from her birthday wishlist, which includes clothes, gadgets and wigs.
He ended the post by wishing her a happy birthday.
The development comes months after rumours of a marital crisis between Bam Bam and her husband Teddy A.
Although neither of them has publicly addressed the claims, some social media users have continued to speculate about their relationship.
Speaking earlier in March during an interview with BBC Igbo, Uzor denied claims of a romantic relationship between himself and the actress, which followed their roles in a film together.
He said he remained professional on set and discussed boundaries with Bam Bam before acting scenes that required physical contact, adding that he was mindful not to affect her marriage.
Despite the rumours, both actors have continued to work together, maintaining what appears to be a professional relationship.
Uzor and Bam Bam are known for their roles in the film Love in Every Word, where their on screen chemistry drew attention from audiences and contributed to the speculation about their relationship.
