Otedola visits Tinubu, prays for him to win presidential election

Businessman Femi Otedola has paid a visit to the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Bola Tinubu in Paris, France.

Mr Otedola on Tuesday, July 5 posted a photo of the visit on social media. He also prayed for Tinubu’s ambition.

“I am always excited visiting my Great Friend Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu. May God grant him his heart’s desire in becoming the President of this great Nation,” said Otedola.

The billionaire’s father Michael Otedola was governor of Lagos from January 1992 to November 18, 1993 while Tinubu was Lagos governor from 1999 to 2007.

On Sunday, July 3, Tinubu’s son Seyi posted a photo on social media of himself having lunch with his “mentors” Otedola and lawyer turned entertainment executive Toyin Subi.

Otedola is not the only high profile person to have visited Tinubu since the latter arrived France on June 27 following a meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun on Monday, July 4 met Tinubu.

Mr Abiodun also posted a photo of the visit to social media.

The governor said he spent quality time with the APC presidential candidate and that they rubbed minds on numerous party and national issues.

“Spent quality time with our party leader and presidential candidate Bola Tinubu to rub minds on numerous party and National issues,” he said.

According to Tinubu’s media office, he will hold some important meetings in France.

Before his departure, Tinubu attended the public presentation of a book titled Mr. Speaker and launch of legislative mentoring initiative in commemoration of the 60th birthday of the Speaker of House Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila.

Tinubu emerged the presidential candidate of APC on June 8.
