Actress Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde has reflected on her surgery experience while revisiting clips saved on her phone.
In a post shared on Instagram on Friday, the 48-year-old said she came across old hospital videos while clearing her phone and decided to post them as she had more time.
“Clearing my phone this Morning and saw some videos I had saved! Now I have time to post them!
“Oh dear! What a journey it has been with my Debut “ MothersLove!”.”
The post comes after the release and premiere of her directorial debut film Mother’s Love, which premiered in cinemas last month.
In 2024, Omotola revealed that she had undergone emergency surgery following an undisclosed illness. She shared a video at the time showing herself on a hospital bed, expressing gratitude while Fireboy DML’s song ‘Iseoluwa’ played in the background.
She later posted another video showing scars from the procedure on her abdomen and explained that she had undergone surgery on her stomach after the health scare.
