Nollywood lacks structure, Gideon Okeke cries out over alleged N500k debt

Actor Gideon Okeke has lamented the lack of structure in the movie industry following claims that filmmaker Frank Rajah owes him N500k.

Gideon made the allegation in an Instagram post on Thursday. He accused the movie producer of refusing to pay him after featuring him in his movie The Bag Man.

The Tinsel star added that if Nollywood had structures in place, bullying would not have happened.

He said: “The filmmaker Frank Rajah owes me 500k. I’ve been quiet for 3 years now. Some very important and influential people know this. But like Frank says: ‘Dem go beat be ni?’ If there were structures, this kneegar wouldn’t dare bully himself or try to outsmart me of my ‘SWEAT EQUITY’. You’ve heard of horrible bosses in Nollywood yea? This kneegar is one!.

“But let’s all wait for him in front. The day his madness pushes him to release the film or sell it to a VOD portal. The film is titled: THE BAG MAN. In the event of a title change, if you see my face anywhere in a film by him, abeg shout FOUL PLAY for me!”

In another post, he wrote: “F*ck it That money will come in handy right now, and on any given day! Anybody know that kneegar, talk to him.”
