Actress Funke Akindele has continued to mourn Dowen College student Sylvester Oromoni, saying that no parent deserves to go through such an ordeal.
The mother of twins shared a video of the boy’s father granting an interview and recounting his conversation with the principal of the school. The video was uploaded on Instagram on Sunday.
Reacting to the video, the actress said that she is so pained and heartbroken. She also prayed for the family of the boy.
“This is so heartbreaking!! No parent deserves to go through this pain! Why for crying out loud!! #justicemustbeserved Kai! I’m so pained!! #justiceforsylvesteroromoni MY the Lord comfort the OROMONI FAMILY! Amen,” she wrote.
Meanwhile, the family of the late Senator Buruji Kashamu says Michael Kashamu, one of five students of Dowen College, named to have allegedly attacked Sylvester Oromoni, is innocent.
In a statement issued on the family’s behalf by Mutairu Kashamu, the family called for calm and supported the ongoing investigation into the matter.
