Nigerians standout on AMVCA nominees list

Africa Movie Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) in association with Multichoice on Friday announced the nominees for the 2016 edition of awards.

Genevieve Nnaji, Mary Lazarus, Belinda Effah, Fulu Mugovhani, Adesua Etomi and Nse Ikpe-Etim will compete in the Best Actress In A Drama (Movie/TV Series) category.

Stephanie Linus, IK Ogbonna, Funke Akindele, Mike Ezuruonye and Beverly Naya were also nominated in various categories.

Ishaya Bako’s Road to Yesterday and Stephanie Linus’ Dry were two of the standout movies from Nigeria.
