My husband will bring prosperity to Nigerians – Tinubu’s wife

Bola Tinubu & Remi Tinubu on 60th birhday

Senator Oluremi Tinubu, wife of the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Bola Tinubu, has promised prosperity and enduring economic stability for Nigerians if her husband is elected president.

Mrs Tinubu said this at a town hall meeting with persons with disability (PWD) in Abuja on Thursday.

She stated that there would be a turnaround when her husband was elected while building on the legacies of Buhari.

The 62-year-old said that the hardship being experienced in the country was because the nation was in labour and on its way to birth prosperity.

She urged Nigerians to give her husband’s Muslim-Muslim ticket a chance as the previous model did not succeed due to the activities of evil forces.

“President Muhammadu Buhari has laid the foundation, trust me, what is happening now is just delivering pains, when a mother wants to deliver, what will happen?

“Labour, pain. So we are labouring right now to birth a Nigeria that is going to be great, I can’t wait to see that Nigeria.

“I always tell people that they should try the Tinubu/Shettima ticket and if it does not work, it is democracy, you have the opportunity in four years to vote them out. But I believe that if you try it, you will not regret it,” she said.

Mrs Tinubu, who reiterated the need to vote for her husband, said Nigeria’s economy would bounce back.

She assured the Persons with Disability community that the Tinubu presidency would carry them along in its policy.

According to her, some section of the economy is in disability and analysis in each sector would show a need to overhaul some aspects.

“I am telling people that it is not about money, the People you see in rally is not about money but somebody they believe can give them hope in these trying times. If we don’t hope as human beings that means we are not worth living,” she said.
