Singer and entrepreneur Mr Eazi has opened up on the moment he first became certain that his wife, Temi Otedola, was pregnant.
Speaking on Temi’s podcast, he said he was initially unsure when she told him the news while they were in Japan, noting that she was not showing clear signs at the time.
He said, “When I found out you were pregnant in Japan, I wasn’t completely sure at first because you weren’t showing many signs. You just seemed tired more often.
“But when we got to Dubai and went for the scan, the moment I saw the embryo and heard the heartbeat, I was happy”.
The couple had earlier announced that they are expecting their first child. Temi shared photos from a maternity shoot and reflected on the pregnancy journey in a post that included a biblical reference about being known before formation in the womb.
In an interview with People magazine, Temi said she found out she was pregnant during a two month travel break across East Asia following their wedding celebrations. She added that keeping the news private for a period and later surprising family members with ultrasound printouts across different locations was a memorable part of the experience.
Mr Eazi and Temi, who got engaged in 2022 after several years of dating, held their wedding ceremonies in 2025 across Monaco, Dubai and Iceland.
