Nollywood actress, Idowu Philips, popularly known as Mama Rainbow, has identified a fake Instagram account created in her name.
Operators of the account named ‘Mama Rainbow Binomo’ require the public to trade with them and be paid.

Mama Rainbow, whose Instagram account is not verified, on Tuesday, drew the attention of the public and authorities to the fake account.
“FAKE!!!!FAKE!!! FAKE PLS GUYS BEWARE! This account is fake! Do not pay into any personal account pls,” she wrote.
Mama Rainbow was in Dubai, United Arab Emirates on October 28 for her 77th birthday party.

Her stage name ‘Iya Rainbow’ stems from ‘Osumare,’ the Yoruba word for rainbow.
The actress worked as a certified nurse in general hospitals in Nigeria for several years and occasionally acted in theatres before venturing into full-time acting.
