Lagos State Government will on Monday arraign the medical director of Optimal Cancer Care Foundation Dr Femi Olaleye for allegedly defiling a 16-year-old girl (name withheld).

The Directorate of Public Prosecution (DPP) announced this on Sunday in a letter of notification signed by the principal state counsel of DPP Oluwagbenga Alagbe.

Alagbe stated that Olaleye would be arraigned before Justice Ramon Oshodi of the Sexual Offences and Domestic Violence Court in Ikeja on Monday, November 21.

“Olaleye will be facing a two-count charge of defilement and sexual assault by penetration.

“He must appear before the Honourable Court and also make provision for a legal practitioner of his choice,” Alagbe said.

He added that a copy of the information papers and proof of evidence were attached to the notification of arraignment already sent to the accused.

In September, actress Kate Henshaw called out and severed relationship with Olaleye for allegedly deflowering a minor. The child is said to be his wife’s niece.

Kate wrote on Instagram, “For many years I have advocated for women & the girl child. I have worked with @drfemi of @CancerOptimal on Breast Cancer & Cervical screening for many years.

“He has sexually molested a minor. My brand has integrity & can never be associated with such. I no longer work with him.”
