Filmmaker Kunle Afolayan has released photos of skit makers Layi Wasabi and Sisi Quadri and actress Bola Fowosire on the set of his four-part series Anikulapo: Rise of the Spectre.
The pictures were shared via his Instagram account on Tuesday, with a question for his one million followers.
Kunle wanted to know how his fans would react if they woke up and found the trio (known for their comic roles) on their doorstep.
“You woke up in the morning and found these three at your doorstep! What will you do @layiwasabi @iamsisiquadir @ewatomilolaasake,” the filmmaker captioned the photos.
Kunle unveiled Layi Wasabi and Sisi Quadri as casts of the series through an Instagram post on a Tuesday with featured scenes shot during production. The movie maker tagged their Instagram accounts in the caption.
Anikulapo: Rise of the Spectre is a sequel to the movie Anikulpao released in 2022.
The series will feature Sola Sowobale, Kunle Remi. Bimbo Ademoye, Owobo Ogunde, Gabriel Afolayan, Lateef Adedimeji, Eyiyemi Afolayan, Uzee Usman, Oyinda Sanni and Taiwo Hassan.

Distributed by Netflix, Anikulapo has an IMDB rating of 5.5.
It got 16 nominations at the 2023 Africa Magic Viewer’s Choice Awards (AMVCAs) and won five of them including the category of Best Overall Movie in Africa.
