Former Managing Director of Sunbeth Energies Kudi Badmus has been appointed executive director of SunTrust Bank Nigeria Limited.
The bank said the appointment is part of efforts to strengthen its leadership team as it pursues its growth plans.
Mrs Badmus is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and studied Accounting at Ahmadu Bello University between 1984 and 1989.
She has more than three decades of experience in banking, energy and infrastructure.
Before her appointment, she served as executive director and chief financial officer at Eterna Plc, where she was involved in capital raising, financial restructuring and business expansion.
She also held executive roles at ASO Savings and Loans Plc.
Her career includes senior positions at Bond Bank and First City Monument Bank.
Kudi Badmus is also founder and director of Fort Capital Ltd, where she oversees investment strategy and partnerships.
SunTrust Bank said her appointment is expected to support the bank’s operations and market expansion.
