Joke Silva, Jaiye Kuti, Dayo Amusa, others console Faithia Williams over father’s death

Film practitioners, Joke Silva, Jaiye Kuti, Dayo Amusa, Chioma Akpotha and others have consoled their colleague Faithia Williams over the death of her father.

Faithia announced her father’s passing in an Instagram post on Tuesday with the image of a burning candle.

“With a heavy heart, I am sad to say goodnight to my loving father. May his gentle soul rest in peace”‘ she wrote.

“Fathia so sorry. May His soul rest in peace,” Joke Silva wrote in the comment section of the post.

Jaiye Kuti wrote: “Awwwwwww so sad ooo0o. May his soul rest in peace. Sorry love eyin won ada o.”

Dayo Amusa added: “Awwwww so sorry. My upmost condolences.”

“I’m so sorry for your loss darling Fathia. May God be with your family at this time,” Chioma commented.

“So sorry ma, accept my condolence , May His Gentle soul rest in peace,” Jide Awobona wrote.

“Accept my condolences sis, stay strong,” Wunmi Ajiboye wrote.

In another post, Faithia Williams expressed sadness over her father’s death, adding she is in a state of mourning and needs privacy.

She wrote: “I lost my dad today at the age of 80. It is a happy thing he did not bury us but it is a sad thing to let him go. In as much as we thank God we don’t have to spend money on illness or the likes, we can’t but wish he stays longer with us. I am sad.

“I have cried and think about how good of a man he has been. It’s been a journey with with him, a journey filled with everything. Please bear with me if don’t return your cals immediately, I am in a state of mourning..”
