Joeboy drops ‘Alcohol’ video, peaks at number one on digital charts

Singer Joseph Afinfenwa-Donus popularly known as Joeboy has dropped the music video for his hit song ‘Alcohol’.

The singer made the announcement in a Twitter post on Friday.

“Official video to Alcohol out now,” he wrote.

In another Twitter post, Joeboy announced that the song still peaks at number one in all digital charts in Nigeria for two consecutive weeks including Apple Music, Spotify, Shazam and Youtube.

The single started trending on social media after Tik Tok users created videos with the songs to display actions inspired by the lyrics.

Some celebrities have also joined the challenge.

Joeboy was signed into Mr Eazi’s record label Empawa Africa in 2017.

He released his EP titled Love and Light in 2019 which comprises ‘Baby’, ‘Beginning’, ‘Don’t Call Me Back’, ‘All For You’ and ‘Blessings’.
