Continuing her yearly trend of giving to the less privileged, the screen diva revealed through an Instagram post on Monday that she did the same this year.

“This year, my management team and I decided to bring together over 60 kids from the Teshie and Osu orphanages to a kids play house at airport residential area to celebrate my birthday with them.”

The 2010 Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMMA) Best Actress in a Leading Role also invited children of family and friends to join in the celebration.

On behalf of the Jackie Appiah Foundation, the Ghanaian star presented the children with items including books, school bags, bags of rice, drinks, toiletries and cash.

I will also like to appreciate my family and friends for their support and prayers which have kept me going all these years. May God bless you all. This year, like all previous ones, I chose to celebrate my birthday with the less privilege in society instead of having a private party in the comfort of my home. In the past, I have spent this special day with kids at various hospitals and orphanages. This year, my management team and I decided to bring together over 60 kids from the Teshie and Osu orphanages to a kids play house at airport residential area to celebrate my birthday with them. We also had children of family and friends. Indeed, the children of family and friends were interacting and showing love to the Less privileged kids from the orphanages. On behalf of the Jackie Appiah Foundation I presented a few items to the kids. The items included books, sch bags, stationary and other educational materials. Bags of rice, drinks and toiletries and cash. Thanks for the decor @primeshadesgh Thanks to Fifi of golden tulip for the cake @drewbaine
