Actress Iyabo Ojo has demanded the sum of five hundred million naira from fellow actress Lizzy Anjorin over an alleged libellous publication against her.

Lizzy has been making a series of posts on TikTok and Instagram since Iyabo began seeking justice for Mohbad who died under unclear circumstances on Thursday, September 12.

The Yoruba actress has been directing her allegations at a fictional character she calls Sepeteri. She alleged that the said character sleeps with men and even had a threesome with her daughter.

Although Lizzy never mentioned Iyabo’s name, she accused some celebrities of using Mohabd’s death to “chase clout.” She also claimed one of them dated a certain “Dada” who many believed to be Naira Marley.

Iyabo who is convinced that Lizzy is referring to her, made a video on Monday, daring Lizzy to mention her name. She also threatened a lawsuit against her colleague who she called a “lizard”.

Reacting to the challenge, Lizzy made another video, saying that she cannot mention Iyabo’s name because she does not want to make trouble. She also insisted that her followers already know who she has been referring to in her videos.

Making further allegations against the Sepeteri character, Lizzy claimed the mother of the fictional person encouraged Sepeteri and her daughter to have threesomes with men while she fanned them.

Carrying out her threat, Iyabo through her lawyers on November 24, filed a suit against Lizzy Anjorin demanding an apology, a retraction and N500 million.

The suit read in parts: “Our client came on her verified social media handle on Instagram and called out your name and asked if you were referring to her as ‘Sepeteri’. She further challenged you to mention her name for clarity and put and end to the second-guessing. Surprisingly you did not waste time to respond. Within few minutes you came on your verified page and responded saying, ‘I will not call your real name but I will keep attacking you as Sepeteri an open and uncontentious way of alluding and affirming that you have always referred to our client(facts admitted need no further prove).”
