Actress Ireti Doyle on Wednesday welcomed her daughter Jemiyo to adulthood on the latter’s 18th birthday.
In a message posted in Instagram, the proud mother narrated how the past 18 years with her daughter have been filled with years of loving, being loved, teaching, filling and growing.
The 55-year-old posted a video on Instagram, chronicling her daughter’s journey from childhood to adulthood.
She wrote: “18 years ago on this day, You came into my world! For me, you were my dream come true! Baby Girl.
“18 years of loving, and being loved. 18 years of teaching and being taught. 18 years of filling and being filled.18 years of growing and being grown. @jemiyodoyle… Happy birthday, Precious…wa gbo, wa to, wa tegbe…. Whatever I have achieved, is your starting point. Be ALL you can be!! Ma ma Fi eteite mokop.”
On her 55th birthday on May 3, Jemiyo left Ireti in tears over the surprise birthday treat she gave her mum.
In a video uploaded on Instagram on Ireti is seen opening the surprise package after her daughter presented it to her. Ireti was greeted with butterflies that flew out of the gift presented to her.
Ireti’s pictures were also designed in the box alongside rose petals. The surprised pack got The Wedding Party star emotional as she shed tears.
Reacting to the surprise treat, Ireti hugged her daughter and thanked her for the gift.
