Actress Eniola Badmus has replied a rant made by actor Uche Maduagwu over her support for President-elect Bola Tinubu.

The movie industry has been divided due to the 2023 elections as Peter Obi’s supporters clamp down on Tinubu’s campaigners.

Recently, Uche said he was disappointed in Eniola and her colleague Toyin Abraham for being on Tinubu’s side.

He said, “I am so disappointed that despite how flawed and less credible the just concluded presidential election was Toyin and Aunty Eniola still dey jubilate over Tinubu victory. Is this a joke? After seeing all what agberos did to innocent Lagosians to prevent them from voting, the fighting and scattering of INEC ballot papers and equipment, with videos of them chasing away those who came to vote for other parties that is not APC, una still dey jubilate?”

The actor apologised to his fans for supporting Toyin Abraham in the past.

He said, “My biggest regret in Nollywood is supporting Toyin in the past. I apologise to all my fans for this. I wept bitterly when I saw my senior colleague reply to her numerous fans all because of the election or what? Ki lo de? This is wrong. Upon all your support to Asiwaju, did Peter Obi not win Lagos?”

Uche accused Toyin of belittling her fans who watch her movies on YouTube and at cinemas because she is now rich.

While Toyin, who says she is the most bullied actress for her political choice, has not replied Uche, Eniola simply told the actor via Instagram to “get well soon.”
