Former managing director and chief executive officer of Transcorp Hotels Plc Dupe Olusola has graduated from Harvard Business School’s Advanced Leadership Initiative (ALI).
Mrs Olusola shared the news on Instagram on Thursday, posting photos of herself in a graduation gown alongside family members and friends.
Reflecting on the experience, she said the programme challenged her, broadened her perspective and gave her the opportunity to build new relationships.
“Today, I officially completed the Harvard Advanced Leadership Initiative (ALI), Class of 2026,” she wrote.
According to her, the programme became more than an academic pursuit, describing it as an opportunity to embrace growth, learning and change.
She also spoke about the sacrifices involved in pursuing personal and professional development.
“People often talk about achievement without talking about what it costs. The time. The sacrifice. The uncertainty. The money invested. The comfort surrendered. The life temporarily put on pause,” she said.
Olusola added that the experience left her with new friendships, memories and a renewed sense of purpose.
“And yes, I am proud of me. I showed up for myself. I bet on myself. I kept going,” she wrote.
Dupe Olusola served as managing director and chief executive officer of Transcorp Hotels Plc from 2020 to 2024.
Before joining Transcorp Hotels, she held leadership positions at United Bank for Africa (UBA) and Teragro Commodities Limited, the agribusiness subsidiary of Transnational Corporation of Nigeria (Transcorp).
