Chairman of The Delborough Lagos board and Obi of Onitsha Nnaemeka Achebe has congratulated the founder and chief executive officer of The Delborough Lagos and Stanel Group Stanley Uzochukwu on completing executive leadership programmes at the University of Oxford and Harvard Kennedy School.
In a statement released on Monday, Obi of Onitsha commended Mr Uzochukwu for pursuing further education despite his business commitments.
Uzochukwu completed programmes in 2025 including High Performance Leadership, Emerging Leaders, Leadership Decision Making, Leading Successful Programmes Using Evidence and Strategic Leadership for Personal Effectiveness.
During a telephone conversation, the Obi of Onitsha urged him to apply the knowledge gained from the programmes to the expansion of The Delborough Lagos brand, especially with The Delborough Abuja project underway.
“Congratulations, my son, and welcome back from Oxford. We are waiting for the deployment of the newly acquired knowledge and its gains to the growth and expansion of The Delborough Lagos brand,” he said.
“Your zeal for personal development is evident in the ground you are breaking at this early stage of life. On behalf of The Delborough Lagos board members, I heartily commend and congratulate you on your academic achievements.”
Stanley Uzochukwu is the founder of Stanel Group, which operates in sectors including oil and gas, hospitality and retail.
He also serves as chairman of the UNIZIK Advancement Board and is a member of the governing council of Igbinedion University.
