First runner-up in the 2007 edition of Big Brother Africa (BBA), Ofunneka Anyanwu, clocked 42 on Friday.

Born on August 9, 1977, the former Miss Molokwu now lives in Alstonville, Australia where her husband works as a lecturer.

Ofunneka has maintained a low profile after finishing behind Richard Bezuidenhout of Tanzania in the pan-African reality TV show.

She celebrated her 30th birthday while in the Big Brother House in South Africa.

It will be recalled that Richard sexually assaulted her while drunk, prompting Nigerian authorities to summon producers of the show.

That ugly episode and others eventually led to the scrapping of “shower hour” on the show.

Ofunneka got married to Professor Chika Anyanwu in 2010 and was delivered of a baby girl in 2011.

With a bachelor in psychology and diploma in counselling, she now runs Counselling Children and Communities with Non-Judgemental Nurturance (C3N2) in Australia.

A member of the Australian Counselling Association (ACA), she offers face-to-face consultation, online therapy and phone consultation for people dealing with depression and anxiety, among other mental health issues.

“I believe all my clients have what it takes to succeed and are experts of their own lives. Therefore, my role is to help you believe this too. Give yourself the chance to soar,” she said on her official website.
