Twitter users have taken time out to remember King of Pop, Michael Jackson, nine years after his death.
On what would have been his 60th birthday on Wednesday, users of the social media platform have come together to celebrate the music icon.
Michael Jackson died on June 25, 2009 of an overdose of the drugs propofol and benzodiazepine after suffering a cardiac arrest.
The singer emerged as a child star with the Jackson Five and transformed into a global pop sensation, but his life was plagued with controversy.
Tributes have poured in on Twitter to celebrate Michael Jackson as his legacy lives on.
