Former APC vice-chairman, Inuwa Abdulkadir, is dead

The immediate past National Vice-Chairman (North-West) of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Inuwa Abdulkadir, is dead, a party official has said.

Senator Lawal Shuaibu confirmed the incident in a text message to The PUNCH.

He said Abdulkadir died early Monday after a brief illness.

Abdulkadir was part of the defunct Adams Oshiomhole-led APC National Working Committee (NWC).

The deceased had held the traditional title of Magatakarda Babba (chief scribe) of the Sokoto Sultanate. He once worked as company secretary of the state-owned Sokoto Newspaper Company, publishers of The Path Newspaper.

He will be buried according to Muslim rites.
