Nollywood actor, Muyiwa Ademola, clocked 47 on Friday with a heart full of gratitude for how far he has come in life.

Reflecting on his very humble beginning, the man nicknamed Mr Authentic wrote on Instagram: “My father never owned a motorcycle let alone car. My father never bought a TV not until after my secondary school.”

Growing up in a lowly part of Ibadan, the Oyo State capital saw him reading for his school certificate exam with a local lamp and waiting 13 years for admission into the university.

“Yet I’m being celebrated in this manner,” he added.

An Adult Education graduate of the University of Ibadan, Muyiwa was introduced to the Nigerian movie industry by Charles Olumo, popularly known as Agbako in 1991.

The father of twin boys and other kids produced his first movie titled Asise in 1995.
