The singer wished himself a happy birthday in an Instagram post in which he thanked God for being good to him.

1 Davido was born was born on November 21, 1992, in Atlanta to Chief Adedeji Adeleke and the late Veronica Adeleke.

2 His mother died in March 2003, when the singer was 10 years old.

3 Davido named his first daughter Imade, after his mother. He has said his love for entertaining people comes from her.

4 Davido has fathered two daughters Imade and Veronica. Imade’s mother is Sophia Momodu, cousin of Dele Momodu, publisher of Ovation magazine, while Veronica’s mother is Amanda, a student of Georgia University, USA

5 Davido has political connections through his family. His late uncle Isiaka Adeleke was the first civilian governor of Osun State. His other uncle, Senator Ademola Adeleke, contested for the state governorship in September 2018.

6 Davido enrolled to study business administration at Oakwood University in Alabama. He dropped out due to his interest in music and moved to London to develop his musical skills.
