Popstar Davido has challenged some of his friends and colleagues to gift him a cash token of one million naira as his birthday gift.
The challenge which started on Tuesday sparked reactions from celebrities who gifted the singer the sum of one million naira as requested.
On Wednesday, the 28-year-old shared screenshots series of credit alerts he received on his Instagram stories.
Celebrities like Zlatan, Teni, Cubana Chief Priest, Rebecca Nengi, E-Money, Mr Eazi, Adekunle Gold, Chike and Peruzzi have gifted the singer the sum of one million naira.
Ikorodu Bois also gifted the singer the sum of 5,000 naira saying, “Help us manage am, e no easy,”
Appreciating them for their kind gestures Davido wrote, “It’s the thought counts love y’all.”
Other celebrities like Naira Marley, Tunde Ednut, Mayorkun, Don Jazzy, Dremo, Obi Cubana, Dorathy Bachor, Neo Akpofure and Diamond Platinumz who were tagged to the post are yet to respond.
Davido will be turning 29 on Sunday, November 21.
