Davido resumes fight with cousin Dele Adeleke over PDP gov race

Singer David Adeleke popularly known as Davido has resumed his fight with his cousin Dele Adeleke following the latter’s withdrawal from the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) governorship race in Osun State.

Dele made the announcement in a statement on Twitter on Tuesday.

“Here’s an important message to all supporters and well-wishers of the Dele Adeleke Gubernatorial Campaign.

“Submission is the willingness to give up our right to ourselves, to freely surrender our insistence on having our own way all the time…In light of this, I have, having adequately briefed my coordinators and supporters, taken the very difficult decision to withdraw from the PDP Goveerrnship race,” the statement read in part.

Reacting to the message, Davido retweeted the post, “Ur talkin to the 1 person wey vote u abi .. I no understand which one be all supporters … cousin dele frog jump loading.”

Meanwhile, the singer’s uncle Ademola Adeleke has emerged as the candidate of PDP in Osun State ahead of the election.

Davido also congratulated him.
