Director Dammy Twitch has celebrated a new milestone for his film Call of My Life after it crossed N400 million at the Nigerian box office.

The 30-year-old shared the news on Instagram on Friday, posting a promotional poster showing the movie’s latest earnings.

In the caption, he wrote: “Call Of My Life is now one of the Top 10 highest-grossing Nigerian films of all time. This one is special.

“A small film made with so much love, faith, and the belief that audiences would show up for a simple, beautiful love story.

“Thank you to everyone who bought a ticket, told a friend, dragged a friend, laughed, cried, posted, reviewed, and supported Call Of My Life. We made history together.”

QEDNG earlier reported that the movie had earned N395 million at the box office.

According to box office figures released over the weekend, Call of My Life ended May as the number one film in Nigerian cinemas after generating N88.42 million in its third weekend. The performance brought its cumulative earnings to N395 million at the time.

Released on May 15, the film outperformed several competing titles, including Ajosepo: The Gathering and the Hollywood release Michael during the period.

Call of My Life marks Dammy Twitch’s feature film directorial debut and was produced by Blessing Uzzi under Bluhouse Studios.

The story follows Soluchi, played by Uzo Amaka, a woman trying to rebuild her life after a painful breakup with Kalu, played by Zubby Michael. Her journey takes an unexpected turn when a work related phone call connects her with Eli, played by Andrew Yaw Bunting.

The screenplay was written by Uzo Amaka, who also stars in the lead role. Other cast members include Nkem Owoh, Patience Ozokwor, Beverly Osu, Broda Shaggi and Justin UG.

The film has continued to set box office records since its release. Earlier in its cinema run, it became the highest grossing romance film of 2026 and was reported to have crossed N222 million within weeks of release. It also became the first Nollywood title to record a 20 per cent weekend on weekend increase at the box office.
