CDQ apologises to Ifu Ennada over ‘one night stand’ statement

CDQ

Popular Yoruba rapper, CDQ, has apologised for using abusive words to describe evicted Big Brother Naija housemates, Ifu Ennada.

The man born Sodiq Abubakar took to Instagram page on Thursday to send an apology after the reality TV show contestant challenged him in a recent interview.

Drama started on Monday, February 19 when Ifu Ennada told fellow Big Brother Naija housemates that she contributed to the rapper’s success by giving him her school fees.

The indigenous rapper replied with a post on Instagram where he wrote “u just a one night stand.”

Ifu Ennada was evicted from Big Brother Naija on Sunday along with her strategic partner, Leo, with speculations that the 32-year-old rapper’s use of abusive words contributed to her eviction.

Speaking in an interview with Pulse after her eviction, an angry Ifu said: “He called me a one night stand. CDQ is an asshole; like…he didn’t even see my vagina. I don’t even understand how I’m a one night stand.

“I honestly don’t understand because when I said what I said on Big Brother, it wasn’t from a malicious view.

“It was because the guys in the house were talking about how girls always depend on men and all that.

“I was trying to a point that even when I was a teenager I was in school but this is what I was doing.

“It is sad that he was the one I did it to.

“It is sad that he went out there to say I’m one night stand. Ogun go visit you.”

Responding in an Instagram post on Thursday, CDQ apologised to women for his “hurtful” response to Ifu Ennada.

He, however, accused her of spreading fabricated stories about him while she was in the Big Brother House.

“Mam, God knows we only met once. You did not even know my house neither do I know yours or any of ur family.

“So I don’t understand where your drama is coming from.”

While pointing out that “You don’t play around fire expecting not to sweat,” he offered a peace gesture by telling her sorry in Yoruba and Igbo languages.

✍ To all the beautiful ladies out there I understand how hurtful my clap-back to Ifu Enanda of Big brother Naija was. I was just shocked by the fabricated stories she was telling the world while she was on the Big Brother Show. Mam, God knows we only met once. You did not even know my house neither do I know yours or any of ur family. So I don’t understand where your drama is coming from. You don’t take advantage of an artiste with any opportunity u have by fabricating lies because you want to get the world’s attention or pity… We human too and we got feelings. My reply was to let u understand “You don’t play around fire expecting not to sweat” #Tunechi 🔥 So biko Ifu-Enada Mabinu mami SayMama 😊🙏 Love reigns 💝 Woss ✌
